First impression (others have of you): I think people think I have a stick up my arse. In fact, I think I have a stick up my arse. I just have no idea how to get rid of it.
General personality traits: I'm actually a hardcore romantic who longs for a boy to sweep me off my feet.
Likes: Justice. It's the reason I joined the Order. I don't wait for Karma to happen; I deliver sentencing whenever I can. Class wise, I loves Ancient Runes and hope to find a career in that ... well, maybe I'll join the Order for a few years, just to say I helped out.
Dislikes: You-Know-Who. And stubbornness, although I can be quite guilty of that quality. Oh, I hate Potions. So much.
Extracurricular Activities: Runes Society! Really brilliant.
Personal Weakness(es): Can you say anxiety disorder? I'm pessimistic and always thinks the worst of myself. I'm anal-retentive, obsessive...
Personal Strength(s): Practical, polite, a huge imagination (which often distracts me from the facts... which gets in way of the practicality, when when my friends pull me back down to earth, all is well), modest, and organized.
Close Friendships: Lily and I were best friends, but she's so busy lately... Amelia Bones has become a very dear friend, and Lionel...well, Lionel Lovegood's probably the dearest friend a girl could possibly have. Amos Diggory and I are engaged (but shhhh it's a giant secret!) and Amelia Bones may as well be my sister. *BEAMS*
Truth or Dare?: Truth. I'm far too afraid of what the dare would be. I'm much better with words than action.
Share a secret: When you think I'm copying notes from a friend (particularly the Potions notes from Lily), I'm actually writing a fantastic romance novel about me and my faceless future husband. Er, you didn't hear that.
Parents: Wendy (muggle) and Darwin (wizard) McKinnon
Siblings: Older brother, Cordell
Tell us, in a paragraph, what it was like growing up with your family: To my parents, I was just another kid. My brother, on the other hand, saw me as a Princess. His job was to protect me; to ensure my life was magical. Little did he know it actually would be literally magical, and when I began summoning objects towards me as I needed them, my father admitted to my mother his secret. After that, they lived in silence, my mother too afraid to actually leave, but too hurt by his lie to continue caring about him. We had our good times, and our bad, and ignoring that our father lied about his magical genetics, we're relatively normal. We fight, we make up, we eat pizza. It's just a family in a Muggle neighborhood... no big deal.
Currently, my brother is very successful in Parliament and hopes to someday be Prime Minister. We get invited to galas and spiffing parties, and it's fun and all, but...I don't think Cordell will ever settle down and have a good old fashioned family. He says I'll join him someday, in politics, and Emmeline Vance seems to agree (but she's got a crush on Cordell, so I don't take her word too seriously) but I don't know. I'd like to just settle down. Have a family. That'd be nice.
I've kept her last name McKinnon, because despite desperately wanting to find the perfect husband, she never married. When it's defined in the series that she was killed with her family, it means her mother, father, and brother. She just never had time to find the right someone while she ran about fighting all the wrong someones.
